Yeah, I thought the info was pulled. So it's confirmed now. It's a fairly sloppy implementation of the most requested PSN feature if that is the case. I guess the upside is, it's still all optional, I can continue to use PSN and play online without paying.
I think the 'losing PSN games once you stop subscribing', issue is the biggest problem with PSN Plus...What do others think (rational, non-fanboy comments only, thank you)?
Sounds like they are really improving the graphics. They must be completely redoing the textures etc. So exciting. For those who never got a chance to experience this masterpiece of gaming, the 3DS might be the best option. Please let us see video of the gameplay :(

Well they aren't 'freebie' games cause you're paying for them, you pay $49.95 a year? Why else would you want to pay for PSN Plus?
Yeah, the biggest disappointment about PSN Plus is the fact that once you don't renew your subscription, the games you got during the period your sub was active are no longer playable. Terrible decision and one that puts me off investing in PSN Plus...

I heard him mention Steam but in what capacity does this mean the Steam experience on PC emulated on the PS3? I can't see that happening cause it will severely affect Sony's PSN service...?

Um dude, I have been one of the people advocating not passing judgements on Natal until we had more concrete info, we now have more solid info that suggests Kinect will be more casual focused. I'm not downplaying it at all, some people will enjoy those games, I simply said it isn't my cup of tea. Lighten up.
After supporting the 360 since launch, this whole Kinect thing just seems like a big slap in the face, it really is pathetic. And I was one of the people who optimistically exclaimed "wait till it's shown before bashing it", but it looks like the PS3 fanboy comments are somewhat justified now.
Looks like PS3 will become my main console for both exclusives and multiplatform now, though it doesn't mean I'm going to turn into one of these mindless fanboys y...
